這首歌真的是很老了。
原唱,同時也是原作曲的Kris Kristofferson在1970創作了它。雖然自己當年並未唱出什麼足以傲人的成績,但過去這40年來,不但翻唱的歌者不計其數,甚至有幾個還將它唱上了排行榜。
有些朋友特別喜歡Sammi Smith唱的女聲版,這個版本我也很喜歡,但我更喜歡的是這首Gladys Kinght & The Pips的版本,也就是你現在聽到的。很不一樣的味道。
